Please do not use this space if you plan on hosting parties. Place does not look as manicured as the pictures show on here, and our biggest issue was the dodgy/lack of communication from the hosts. Once we arrived at the location (4 PM), we noticed the fridge still had containers full of food, presumably from whoever was using the space prior to us. We needed the fridge to store our beverages and cake, so of course I called the owners about it. When I spoke to Irene, she told me that there are actually other guests who've been renting out the space for the last 2 nights and they are actually returning at exactly 8 PM...the time our rental period ends. My family and I are appalled by the lack of transparency, and I was even more surprised when Irene came unannounced just to confirm that there was, indeed, still food in the fridge from the last (and supposedly current) renters. Another huge deal for us was that there were termites on the premise :| A family member of mine jumped off of the bed once he spotted it, thinking it was just lint (see picture attached, termite was swiped to the ground out of shock). Lastly, right when we were at the tail end of our clean up, the next renters appeared on site 30 minutes early and told us we were supposed to vacate by 7:30 pm... I'm really at a loss for words with this one. Rarely do I ever leave negative reviews, but this place is not meant for family gatherings. If your venue is solely for production shoots, just keep it that way and don't offer it as otherwise.
