Located in a quiet residential area of Montebello, this home was built in 1960 and possesses great mid-century bones with a touch of Japanese influence to the architecture and exterior design. The front yard feels like a zen garden with sparse landscaping and a large manicured pine. Black breeze blocks create a lovely transition from front yard into the home. The home itself is single-level with very clean lines and black/white paint scheme. A very large stone fireplace and Shoji room dividers are the most prominent feature when entering the front room of the home. With white walls and dark concrete floors, this room has an almost museum-like quality. As you continue through the house, the decor changes slightly and focuses more on earth tones. The dining room of the house has floor to ceiling wood paneling and is filled with plants for a very lush, classic 60s/70s feel. Bedrooms and bathrooms are fairly typical and have been updated. The backyard of the house contains a small tropical garden next to the original mid-century car port. Driveway runs the entire length of the property and leads to a large parking area behind the home.
