Our Japanese-inspired café and Omakase counter, located in the heart of Vancouver’s historic Chinatown is a warm, minimalist space designed with natural materials, thoughtful lighting, and a calm, intimate atmosphere. By day, it’s a specialty coffee and matcha shop; by night, it transforms into a modern plant-based Omakase restaurant. This dual character makes the space exceptionally versatile for photoshoots, small events, pop-ups, and workshops. The interior features a handcrafted 8-seat omakase counter, a signature element rarely found outside of fine dining venues. The counter’s clean lines, natural wood, and focused lighting create a cinematic backdrop ideal for filming or hosting intimate gatherings. The café side includes a large espresso bar, display case, and flexible seating that can be rearranged or cleared depending on the needs of your project. Designed with a warm, modern palette, the space offers soft textures, curated décor, and an uncluttered layout that photographs beautifully. Tall glass windows allow natural light to flow in throughout the day, creating a bright and inviting setting for content creation. In the evening, the lighting shifts into a cozy ambient glow ideal for private dinners, tastings, and after-hours shoots. Our venue is ideal for photoshoots, film projects, small private events, intimate dinners, brand activations, tastings, workshops, and influencer or product shoots.
