Beautiful 5 acre oasis high in Malibu mountain wine country near Mulholland. A mix of terrain, sloping meadow to scenic mountain overlook for a range of TV/film/commercial production, photoshoot, and event opportunities. Unique, experimental indoor/outdoor open architecture house Modern Contemporary/Downtown Loft mashup, Shoji style sliding walls. North facing, front sliding glass wall opens to patio and firepit, makes for great interior to exterior shots. Easy access load and setup, open beam ceiling structure for flexible lighting setups. Celebration/Event productions will be considered depending on noise impact to neighbors, it's a peaceful, magical space in the mountains. Large front patio great for dancing, lounging by the fire pit, rear patio, upper pad and oak grove perfect for chill space set ups. Please note restrictions below regarding celebrations. Near Mulholland Hwy, 15 minutes from the 101 freeway, 20 minutes to downtown Malibu and beach, 45 minutes from Hollywood, within the TMZ, LA County permit, not Malibu City. Ample off-street parking up to 50 cars on upper and lower lot in addition to open space for production trucks. Additional parking available for another 60 to 70 cars on neighbors property approx 200ft away. (Lower lot parking by Airstream is sometimes off limits January thru May depending on how heavy the rain season, the ground gets too saturated to drive on. Though hillside parking for 30 cars onsite remains available and the adjacent neighbors lot available as a separate cost can handle 60 to 70 cars and trucks if lower lot too wet) Guidelines Other: The spacious bathroom and bedroom area is perfect for makeup and wardrobe though the separate house toilet is off limits because of septic tank system impact. However, two deluxe portable restrooms with individual wash sinks are provided with the rental of the space. For an additional $200 fee, 2 trailer mounted luxury style RV washrooms with flushing toilets with are also available. Amplified music after 10pm not allowed, must be moderate volume before 10. The hillside parking is not good for high heels. Celebration and event attendees should wear flat shoes to walk from the uneven parking areas/gravel driveway to the house and patio area. Does not apply to productions. Nature trail to mountain top view of the Santa Monica mountains are slightly damaged from the last rains but is navigable to the determined!
