The Kitchen Food truck is used as a way to connect producers, buyers, and processors in the community to invest in food and business related ventures. It is a commercial kitchen that is fully licensed for community members to use. In the past it has been used to help prep for community events, as a one-day taco truck run by local cooks, and for community fundraisers and culinary arts workshops. It has opened a mobile kitchen for people to test their products, promote product branding and distribution of new menu items. Ultimately, all these efforts aim in building a more resilient foundation for a thriving rural economy that can contribute to a diverse regional foodshed.
