About the Space
Welcome! This space is an industrial-style creative space conveniently located in Mount Pleasant. It features concrete floors, 16-foot ceilings, plenty of natural light, and several textural props. The feature of the space is a double-sided hand-painted 9'X12' backdrop (green/black), large enough to be used as a seamless, a smaller orange/gold painted canvas backdrop good for full body or portrait but not seamless. There is also a 7’ wide white seamless paper backdrop. The props include 2 concrete cubes, a 4' tall vintage vase, a vintage style continuous light, a vintage wooden apple box, and a hand-plastered wall with large industrial style windows for lifestyle photo/video shoots. The kitchen is usable upon request. It comes equipped with a full-size oven, 5 burner gas stove, full-size fridge and freezer, and a large concrete island with additional seating. Renters also have access to the full bathroom/change room. Please request towels if you wish to use the shower. Please note that the unit is not soundproof. It will not be suitable for those looking to play loud music or host large events.

Jillian's is a lovely loft/studio and impeccably decorated, perfect for my shoot. Instructions were spot on and the location was easy to reach. Had a wonderful shoot and will definitely use again. Jillian is super friendly and that always helps!

Very mindful set up for this studio! The main couch is on wheels, which made it very easy to move around for a portion of the shoot. We had a sunny day when we made use I’d the space, there’s one very large window and it worked well for about 1/2 of the space. Depending on how you’re planning on using the studio, you might benefit from some external lighting, especially if it’s overcast or late during the day Jillian and Blair were great to communicate with and both were very attentive, so thank you both!
