About the Space
Welcome! This space is an industrial-style creative space conveniently located in Mount Pleasant. It features concrete floors, 16-foot ceilings, plenty of natural light, and several textural props. The feature of the space is a double-sided hand-painted 9'X12' backdrop (green/black), large enough to be used as a seamless, a smaller orange/gold painted canvas backdrop good for full body or portrait but not seamless. There is also a 7’ wide white seamless paper backdrop. The props include 2 concrete cubes, a 4' tall vintage vase, a vintage style continuous light, a vintage wooden apple box, and a hand-plastered wall with large industrial style windows for lifestyle photo/video shoots. The kitchen is usable upon request. It comes equipped with a full-size oven, 5 burner gas stove, full-size fridge and freezer, and a large concrete island with additional seating. Renters also have access to the full bathroom/change room. Please request towels if you wish to use the shower. Please note that the unit is not soundproof. It will not be suitable for those looking to play loud music or host large events.

Jillian was absolutely fantastic in her communications and was incredibly helpful! The condo had some water issue that caused some flooding in the passageway and Jillian went out of her way to clearly communicate any potential issues I might have (I didn't). This was my second shoot there so I was familiar with the places where there might be blowers etc installed and I reassured her that these would have no impact on my shoot, visually or as a result of the sound. My shoot went really smoothly and Jillian was amazing! Fabulous condo and I will shoot there again.

Beautiful studio with so much character. The space was thoughtfully designed, easy to work in, and had great natural light. The hand-painted backdrop, concrete floors, high ceilings, and textured details gave us so many options for the shoot without needing to over-style the space. Jillian was also a wonderful host — communicative, helpful, and made the whole booking process feel smooth. Would definitely recommend for photo or video shoots.

Absolutely wonderful space. Kinda want to not tell anyone about it and keep it a secret but it’s worth sharing about it. Jillian from the first message was fantastic and so easy to communicate with and was always very helpful. The space was absolutely better than what pictures show. Will totally be coming back !

Absolutely loved the space. Jillian was super responsive to all my questions and personally walked me through the space. My photographs turned out absolutely amazing. I'm so happy with them. As a photographer who prefers to shoot in natural light, I thought the lighting in the space was beautifully soft and diffused. I'll definitely be booking this space again for my future shoots.
