Discover the Paulette Johnson House, designed by architect Walter S White. The Palm Desert iconic 1958 mid century gem, has strong geometric lines providing fabulous indoor/outdoor living. A pebble-stone entry leads into a light-filled interior where floor-to-ceiling glass walls create a seamless indoor-outdoor connection around the main living and dining spaces. Original terrazzo floors, warm wood paneling, and signature masonry walls reflect White’s modernist vision, while the custom kitchen cabinetry honors the home’s authentic mid-century character. The residence features two serene bedrooms with cork-lined closets and bathrooms preserved with original period tile and lighting. Natural light fills every space, capturing views of the surrounding gardens, mountains, and desert skyline. The grounds are designed for both leisure and entertaining, featuring a Parker-style pebble-bottom pool and spa, outdoor kitchen with barbecue and pizza oven, bocce court, putting green, gazebo lounge, and multiple fire pit areas.
