About the Space

Total square footage is 14000 on 2 floors in historic "Maisel" building. Main gallery (street level) is 4000 sf with 16' ceilings and three large skylights. There are 2 enormous display windows at the front entrance and beautiful mosaic flooring. The track lights are new. The exhibition changes every 2-3 months. The lower level is almost 7000 sf of open space and a walk in safe. For nearly 70 years, this level was a jewelry-making workshop that, at its peak, had 350 Indigenous workers handcrafting jewelry. The ceilings are 10.5' high. Whereas the street level space is refined and polished, the lower level is rougher and more industrial. One floor or the entire building can be rented. There are several smaller rooms throughout the building that can serve as offices, dressing rooms, or storage. The HVAC system is new. There is ample power for any need. Artwork can be moved or repositioned with advance notice. Paint and other decor are perfectly feasible, but should be handled on a case-by-case basis.
