About the Space

A retro gallery space conveniently located off the Highline in Chelsea, New York. Exposed beams, customizable track lighting, kitchenette, and storage racks. Approximately 350 square feet, our space fits up to thirty people. Three benches, five chairs, and four pedestals are housed within the Gallery. We also provide access to a ten foot ladder and basic tools for installation purposes. Our building has two freight elevators, which make bringing additional furniture or supplies very convenient for renters. The sixth floor also houses a communal sink and four restrooms for guests. This is an artist-owned, professionally operated gallery, located in New York City in the prestigious Chelsea region of Manhattan, home to some of New York’s finest and most highly respected art galleries. Viridian is one of the city’s oldest artist-owned galleries. Widely regarded as an outstanding showcase for emerging and established artists from the continental USA and around the world, Viridian supports a broad range of original and innovative work that meets the highest aesthetic standards.
