About the Space
THE STORE is a rehabilitated neighborhood grocery in the Historic Glenwood-Brooklyn District near downtown Raleigh, NC. This chic meeting space, media production site and guesthouse is designed by the architect-owner with a lofty “soft-modern interior”. The exterior retains its utilitarian Craftsman style and is located on a quiet residential street corner--very safe and walkable. On-street parking is free, but limited. A nearby parking lot is available for overflow parking located 1 block away.

We were filming a course film with our client. The space was so gorgeous and met all of our needs for various interview set ups! No steps for us to lug equipment. A kitchen that was great for setting up a team breakfast. Easy parking. John was very responsive to our questions – leading up to the day and on the day. Thank you!

This place literally has it all packed into a nicely sized space. John is so down-to-earth & the kindest person, which put the cherry on top of an already fantastic experience, making the spot an easy 11/10. Usually I have to carry around props to shooting locations to create depth to the shot, but no need to do so here - the details selected in the fixtures and decor are so rich in character and the literal perfect touch of eclectic without being imposing. No doubt about it, I *will* be back!

Host was very helpful and resourceful. Didn’t hesitate to give us food and catering options that are less than 5 mins away from the location. Our company shot an multiple interviews in this location and it was such a delightful place to be creative in. You’ll feel at home here! Will come back :)
