Historical Hartley sandstone home located in College Grove, TN offers an idyllic rustic location for filming in a charming setting with a diverse range of historical amenities. This cottage comes with front and back porches overlooking a private lot. On the property surrounding the house are outbuildings dated from the 1800s including a moonshine shed with cellar, a cantilevered chicken coop said to be oldest in TN, 2-seater outhouse, and the original carriage house which includes use of a pool table. There is a creek, a stocked spring fed pond with original spring house built into the hill, duck house, bridge, fire pit, tire swing, 1950s pink Ford tractor and a 5,400sq car barn (addl fee required for inside use of the car barn) Property offers countless unique textures and natural backdrops for your filming needs. We loved the incredible historic outbuildings and the rich textures they provided. The spacious property offered a variety of stunning backdrops, allowing us to capture diverse looks. We look forward to working here again in the future.

This property is impeccable. It has such a nostalgic, classically southern feel and is great for photo and video shoots. As an added bonus the owners are very nice and great people! Perfect location with great lighting, even mid day with direct sunlight there are great spots to get even lighting and tons of shade. The pond and stream are very serene with the trees cascading above. The buildings are circa 1800s with a barn and chicken house, very rustic and perfect for old timey scenes, while also having a pool hall/hang out area inside one, for a more laid back scene. There is also a fire pit, tree swing and great grassy area too! Very private too so you aren’t having to fight off other visitors like you would at a park/public location. Will definitely go back! Thank you to the owners for the upkeep of the place!!
