About the Space

Historic home sits on almost an acre filled with old oak trees and the sound of song birds. Excellent location - walking distance to Trinity University and Historic Landa Library and close proximity to the airport, downtown, the Pearl, and the majestic Riverwalk. Development of Monte Vista began in 1889 approximately 5 miles from Downtown San Antonio and was completed by the 1930's. Architects were drawn to the area from across the country and designed an unusual variety of styles from Queen Anne to Prairie to Tudor to Spanish Colonial Revival. There is brief mention of our home in the book, San Antonio's Monte Vista Architecture and Society in a Gilded Age by Donald E. Everett. Take a stroll through the neighborhood to view both elaborate and more modest examples of interesting architectural design.

    The home was beautiful and worked perfectly for our interview shoot! An added bonus - the host was incredibly helpful, responsive, and flexible. We couldn't have asked for a better location & experience - would definitely book again!
