About the Space
Fremont Abbey is our main venue at 43rd and Fremont Ave. N in Seattle. The 1914 building was reopened in 2008 after undergoing major renovations, including seismic, design, environmental, and visual improvements. Our building also participates in many environmentally friendly practices such as efficient lighting, heating, composting, green cleaning supplies, and other re-use of building materials to prevent adding to landfills. As of 2023, we have installed a brand new HVAC system with air filtration and air-conditioning to our main upstairs hall. Fremont Abbey features two large event rooms of differing styles, both re-purposed and restored with many historical and artistic elements. While no monks actually live here, the building retains a rustic historical atmosphere while offering modern amenities and aesthetics. A welcoming multi-use venue with a warm vintage style, Fremont Abbey welcomes up to 350 people for events of many varieties, including nonprofit galas, private weddings, receptions, parties, meetings, workshops, classes, and more. (250 capacity in our main hall) Support local music, the arts, and other nonprofits by hosting your special event at Fremont Abbey!

4 reviews-
I found this venue perfect for hosting events like poetry readings, small concerts, and musicals. I loved the energy that this place had. The Piano added to its vibe. The place is spacious enough even for setting up small gaming stations after the guests have been seated. I'd suggest their management to put up a sign board, as it was a little hard to find the place when I first visited for my friend's party.

The place hosts non-profit music performances and makes for an ideal venue for throwing parties and organizing other events. Should definitely give it a shot!

It is an amazing place for artists and art lovers. If you are fond of watching art performances, you'd love this place. It has two levels which makes it possible to have two entirely segregated setups simultaneously. It is a great venue for fun events. Loved it!
