A tranquil retreat in the heart of "Mystic Country" Connecticut. This 100-acre historic farm is located in eastern Connecticut's coastal countryside. The stylishly designed private guest house offers cozy beds, luxury amenities, and amazing views overlooking mountains and grazing Texas Longhorn cattle. The property offers beautiful rolling pastures, black fencing, and wildflowers. Grazing horses and cattle grace the farm, as well as free-ranging hens and a couple of friendly roosters—the perfect setting for a corporate retreat, lifestyle photoshoot or film shoot or private event. The property can easily accommodate a large event tent and parking. A 10 ft traditional stone firepit sits atop a pasture with views all around. 60 Acres of private forest is great for a range of photo/film sets or a woodsy event. The property has several historic structures including the main home which was built in 1743, an antique barn and a working barn. Historic rock walls can be found throughout the property as well as a cemetery. Close to the coast, the host of this property also offers a 32' classic Downeast boat available for renting and located within a 20-minute drive from the farm in the heart of historic Stonington, voted by Yankee magazine as the Top 10 most beautiful coastal towns in New England. Plus, wineries, farms, shops, resort casinos, and coastline make this location ideal for a range of shoots, activities, or the perfect getaway and get-out-and-play.
