Extra Large Flex Space in Historic Building w/Grand Entry

About the Space

Nearly 1500 square foot street-level flex room available for holding and catering, locations, shoots, meetings, workshops, classes, and other events. The room measures 81 feet by 18 feet and can hold 60 people seated comfortably at tables (more if people get friendly!), or 80 people arranged towards a speaker. The room has a small stage flanked by two sets of stairs. We have many folding tables and folding chairs for flexible arrangements. (Statue of Liberty is optional!) A grand entryway welcomes you into the space with a wood paneled wall, stained glass French doors, mosaic floor, ornate newel post, and textured wall paper - makes a great backdrop for photo shoots or as a film location. The upstairs hallway also boasts the same textured wallpaper, a wooden railing overlooking the staircase, and original wood doors, including a frosted glass door that says "private." The building is a corner lot on a dead-end street. The exterior includes stained glass windows and a wrought-iron door and visibility of the elevated train line at the end of the dead end street. We have hosted other film productions in the past, including big-budget TV shows. Most recently we were used for holding and catering for an independent film over the summer. The building is three stories plus a basement with no tenants. Photos coming soon of other areas! Bathroom is up a flight of stairs on the second floor. We are sorry, but we do not have internet. Must have certificate of insurance. Street parking only. 4 hour minimum - be sure to include setup and cleanup when calculating how much time you need!
