About the Space
It was established in August of 1988 and after 2 years of design and transformation opened for business on a Thursday afternoon in April of 1990. It is located on Pine Avenue in one of Long Beach's most famous historical landmarks that began life in 1906 as the First National Bank of Long Beach. The building is simply known as one of the most beautiful structures in Long Beach. The award winning design features a complete restoration of the original ceilings accented by a series of marble columns that sit handsomely on the mahogany hardwood flooring throughout the Main Dining Room. The restaurant is richly adorned by etched beveled glass and granite throughout, featuring a modern exhibition kitchen. The basement level consists of The Wine Cellar & La Scala, our two beautiful private dining rooms.
