About the Space

If you're looking for a mixed-use studio for photography/videography sessions or small gatherings. We've got you covered! With natural lighting filling the studio, additional strobe lighting, backdrops and makeup area you'll be able to create without limits! Plus we're just a short walk from the scenic Old Town Alexandria Waterfront. Take in the views and local attractions as inspiration for your next studio production with us. For all video clients who need a controlled sound environment we suggest that you book after 5pm on whichever day you're booking. If you book before those times there is business happening in the building which causes noise that we are not able to control. Filming before 5pm will be at your own discretion. After 5pm the other businesses in the building close so we are able to provide a more controlled sound environment. For all Musicians and Music Artists/Singers. Live performances, Music Videos, or any production that is going to be making alot of excessive noise needs to be booked for after 5pm.

    Great space, with enough room for small photo/video shoots. Nice natural light coming in from the windows, but I’d recommend bringing some ND gels for the windows, as there’s no blinds or diffusers. Another note for video guys, the space can get pretty loud as there is a coffee shop right next door. I got a lot of crowd noise in my audio coming through the walls. Nothing I wasn’t able to fix in post, though. Jules, the host’s brother and business partner is amazing. He was super helpful, and assisted in bringing our gear in and offered tips and advice on how to best shoot in the space. The host stayed on set for the duration of our shoot, which was great for us (as he was a great hang and mega helpful) but if you’re shooting something of a sensitive nature that’s something to keep in mind. All in all, I would absolutely recommend, and I wish the hosts all the best in their buisness! Super talented guys.
