This amount is immediately refunded back to the renter within 48 hours of the booking end time, once the site report has been signed by both host and renter, and no additional damage or cleaning fees have been accessed. This security deposit is not given in place of the COI and lead contact info but in addition. If accessed damages equal to more than the $1000 held, the renter will be responsible for remaining balance.
