About the Space

Established in 2003 and is Castro Valleys only local boutique family estate vineyard and winery nestled on 10 acres surrounded by the rolling hills and forest land of Cull Canyon. Originally a sawmill took residence on the property and overtime the land transitioned to cattle and horse ranches. The circa 1880’s “Red Barn” still stands which was constructed with square nails and redwood. Today the land has gracefully become home to Castro Valleys only estate winery where we proudly grow and produce our own wines. Our vineyards are dry farmed and environmentally sustainable where we grow and produce award winning wines from Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Merlot, Sangiovese, Sauvignon Blanc, Syrah, Tempranillo and Zinfandel. The unique micro climate within Cull Canyon presents more of a light-bodied red wine than what you would find in the warmer valleys but have very diverse flavors that are true and stand well on their own. Our white varietals grow well in the canyon and are smooth by nature. Our small estate winery produces approximately 700 cases of wine per year. We strive to maintain the heritage of the property and actively support balance for people, land and nature.
