About the Space
Brooklyn meets Mexico City in our bar and restaurant. the venue is filled with luscious plants, morning sun, and charming Mexican street and folk art. Our walls are a beautiful neutral lime wash, exposed brick, and large mirrors. We have ample amounts of space for different settings including a bar area, dining area, and back patio. Our front windows are floor-to-ceiling and open completely on warm days which allows plenty of sunlight and room for guests to enter and exit. Our frontage is a simple black paint, with a wooden branded sign. We have a small gated patio that opens to the basement area if needed. Our bar area is the first setting upon arrival. The bar is a handcrafted white oak, with white rustic tile beneath. We have large mirrors that reflect our overhead white clay pendant lighting. Our backbar is a vast variety of imported mezcal, which can be removed upon request. Our barstools are handmade, with white oak seating and rustic steal legs. Beyond the bar we have two large high-top tables, also made of white oak with a large neutral lime-washed brick wall. The dining room has a handmade, white-oak banquette with white marble tables. Our dining chairs are vintage 60's classroom chairs sourced from London. The walls are adorned with art pieces sourced in Mexico City (these can be removed upon request for additional charge). Across from the dining tables is our partially open kitchen, which is concealed with charming green tile, an iron and glass fogged window, and a server station. The dining area seats 18. The back patio area has 3 walls, one of which is exposed concrete climbing with ivy. Two walls are painted a neutral yellow. The fourth side is a black wooden over hang draped with neutral canvas for shade that has a built in white-tiled lined banquette, topped with denim cushions. The furniture is all black, vintage iron chairs and black wooden table tops. We have luscious ferns and funky plants in the warmer months. Our bar/restaurant is on a cul-de-sac in Brooklyn. Our strip is notoriously known as "restaurant row." There is parking on our street, 2-hour parking on the avenue, and ample parking garages within a 5-10 minute walk.
