About the Space

Our Hotel is a beautifully curated boutique hotel in Brooklyn, conveniently located nearby many sound stages including Broadway Stages, Gotham Stages, and Silvercup Studios. The Hotel boasts 126 rooms and 16 different room types including our Superior Rooms (250 sq. ft.), Loft Suites (550 sq. ft.), and Penthouse (1,200 sq. ft.) which all make for unique filming locations. Our spacious suites come equipped with living room space, kitchenette, and comfortable bedrooms and are the perfect solution for any long term stays for cast and crew. Brooklyn Lantern, our hotel lobby bar/restaurant, is the perfect location for any shoots that require a scene involving any dining. We've also utilized Brooklyn Lantern, with its maximum capacity of 100 people, as a holding area for any cast and crew for your film shoot. Lastly, our impressive 10,000 sq. feet rooftop has a gorgeous 360 degree view of the NYC Skyline including views of historic landmarks like The Empire State Building & Chrysler Building and new additions to the skyline such as The Freedom Tower and 1 Vanderbilt. The Rooftop of The Box House Hotel is also a great location for your shoot's wrap party with a beautiful marble bar and kitchen as well as sound and lighting system (provided by our exclusive A/V Provider Room 11 Productions) to keep your guests entertained after a long shoot!
