Artist-led Pop-up Located in Historic Harvey Milk Castro Camera. Our space is an artist-led pop-up located in the historic space that once housed Harvey Milk's Castro Camera. We aim to build on this profound legacy by building a space to celebrate, support, and promote people across the 2SLGBTQIA+ spectrum. As a gallery, boutique, and gathering space, we feature art across all mediums, with a focus on the work of underrepresented, disenfranchised, and emerging local Queer artists and makers while minimizing financial barriers. We strive to provide access and opportunity to keep The Castro Queer A.F. We would love to host your event in our space .. this includes but is not limited to photo and video shoots, corporate meetings, networking events and meetups, private parties, performances, workshops, film screenings and more! We have a large and comfortable open space in the front with an "living room" space of eclectic furniture, an olive green velvet curtain delineating the boutique space from the gallery, and two smaller "backstage" rooms for prep and storage.
