  Just threw my 40th birthday party at Gomoku, and I have to say, they knocked it out of the park! The team at Gomoku went all out to make sure my milestone celebration was nothing short of spectacular. From the get-go, the attention to detail was impressive. They customized the bar menu just for my event, including my all-time favorite whisky, Japanese Hibiki Harmony. This personal touch made the evening feel even more special and tailored just for me. The atmosphere was electric, thanks in no small part to the fantastic DJ who kept the beats coming all night long. The music was on point, with a great mix that kept everyone, from my closest buddies to family members, in high spirits and on the dance floor. And let's talk about the bartenders! Not only were they pretty, but they were also professional, friendly, and quick with a pour, making sure everyone's glasses were never empty. My friends were particularly impressed, and it added an extra layer of enjoyment to the night. The overall vibe at Gomoku was perfect for a lively, fun birthday bash. The space was comfortable yet chic, making everyone feel like they were at a top-notch venue designed for memorable occasions.   I highly recommend Gomoku Restaurant in North Oshawa for parties and catering events. It's very spacious, clean, and the staff are incredibly friendly. Best of all is the food, which is an Asian/Caribbean fusion. My top recommendations: jerk pasta, buttered chicken with plain rice, fried plantains, and. Garlic bread. Big shout out to Shabi, Tanniya, and owner Nathan for a wonderful evening. ❤️

  I can't stop smiling when I think about the absolutely magical bridal shower and Menhendi night we hosted for my sister at Gomoku Restaurant and Bar! From start to finish, the enthusiastic team at Gomoku made sure every detail was handled with care, giving us the entire space to celebrate this joyous occasion. The venue itself is a burst of joy with its vibrant colors and artistic touches. Every corner of Gomoku offered a perfect, Instagram-worthy selfie spot that our guests loved and took full advantage of. It truly added a fun and fabulous flair to all our photos! The culinary experience was a highlight of the evening. Gomoku tailored a menu that dazzled our taste buds, featuring a standout Jerk Shrimp Rasta Pasta that guests couldn't stop talking about. They even whipped up some delightful Pani Puri, alongside mouthwatering burgers and jumbo wings that were just out of this world! Embracing our theme with open arms, the Gomoku staff decorated the space with colorful umbrellas and sarees, creating a festive vibe that resonated with our cultural celebration. The DJ expertly mixed Tamil tunes with an eclectic mix of Reggae, Soca, and Hip Hop, creating an incredible vibe that kept everyone on the dance floor all night long. The bartending service, led by the talented Veronica, was a standout highlight. Veronica crafted custom drinks that were a hit with all our guests. Each cocktail was made with precision and flair, adding a personalized touch that made our night even more special. Gomoku's attention to detail was evident in every aspect of the decor. They created a breathtaking atmosphere with a custom balloon ring, beautifully themed card box, and party favors that matched our colors and theme seamlessly.
