The Learning Centre was designed as part of the Revealing the Charterhouse project and is light and spacious room which marries new design with the old. It has a more modern feel with spot lighting based within octagonal coffers, representing an inversion of the stunning chapel ceiling. This space makes the perfect setting for meetings and business events, but can also be dressed beautifully for dinners. Capacity: 80 for reception, 60 seated theatre style or 50 for dinner – Daytime (9am – 5pm) £300.00 per hour – Evening (5pm – 10pm) £355.00 per hour Guide to venue hire rates: – Rates are exclusive of VAT. – Catering and any extra equipment charged in addition. – Depending on the type of event, some spaces might require more time for setup and a breakdown - extra charge may apply. – Rates are based on individual room hire and non-exclusive use of the Charterhouse. These can be revised on case by case basis considering multiple venue hire. Please note that the published rate and minimum # of hours to book are flexible and it depends on the type of event, days of the week, timings & number of guests. So, it would be best to enquire if you are interested. The venue may have a separate cancellation policy. For further information, please ask the Event Manager.
