This was our second time shooting out at the Mountain View Basecamp. Andrew, who manages the place, is really excellent to work with. Through chatting with him, I found out that he's worked in the film and photography industry in art department for many years, which is part of why he understands the specific needs of production. We had to shift our dates last-minute on our shoot due to a Covid-19 scare, and Andrew was super flexible with us and helped us change the date to one that worked for us, which was a huge relief during such a stressful time. The space is really special, and is easy to make look like complete western wilderness. The space is also production-friendly, with a cozy little back-house that has wifi, and an enclosed outdoor restroom. Bring a motor-home or some four-wall tents out to complete your base-camp and it's perfect. It feels very remote, but there are some restaurants, grocery stores, and gas stations only 10-15 minutes away, so you're not out of luck for last-minute runs. It's also just within the TMZ, which makes things easier on production as well. It's an excellent place to watch the sunrise over the mountains. We got some absolutely stunning footage out there! We will be back for future shoots! Thanks, Andrew!

This location is stunning!! Amazing view and amenities. You have everything you need there from: Dressing room (with heater!!!), Bathrooms, Wifi etc. Fully equipped for production! Andrew was very accommodating, always reachable. He sent all the details in advance so everything was clear when we arrived. So helpful and production friendly! Will definitely shoot here again! Thank you Andrew!
