This cosy pub has provided the backdrop for a TV series, commercials, interviews as well as hosting fashion shoots. Our dart-board even appeared in a video montage for the opening ceremony of the 2012 Olympic Games. I know! We’re a proper East End boozer, complete with Chesterfield vintage sofa, darts trophies, framed photos of old-school boxing stars, mirror disco balls, retro prints of Guinness adverts, guilt framed mirrors and a copper bar top. We have a covered garden at the front of the pub with wooden booth seating, heaters, creeping foliage on trellises and hanging from planters.
The whole venue can be hired out for shoots and comes with catering, free wifi, on-street parking, projector screens, heating, air-con and a kettle! Please do get in touch to check availability and fees.

Known as an Essex barn by design, it was originally used as a storage area for farm equipment and dates back to the 17th Century.
Over the last 10 years it has been slowly transformed into an enchantingly atmospheric entertainment venue. It also acts as a mini theatre, complete with stage, full lighting and sound.
The venue is just outside Rochford, a town near Southend-on-Sea in Essex. The farm entrance is at the beginning of a tree-lined drive leading to the Red Brick Barn. There is plenty of free parking outside.
The barn has a main area/auditorium and reception entrance and stage with full lighting and sound system. The barn offers a kitchen with running hot and cold water, industrial sized fridge/freezer, plenty of surface space with a serving hatch that can act as a bar to supply food and drink to the auditorium. There is also another room adjacent to the kitchen that has access to the stage, it can be used as a dressing room or as storage for coats, tables and chairs.
