It was a pleasure shooting at this home. The owners are very nice and were extremely accommodating to the needs of my student film shoot. Ryan and his wife both work in Film and TV and make for great hosts to any shoot!
The house has a lovely interior and provided a great base for my production designer to work with. The home also has great all-American front and back exteriors, which if you are looking for a residential location that doesn't feel like it is in Los Angeles it is perfect. While the location is located near Van Nuys Airport, there are no issues with sound as planes do not pass directly overhead.
I was shooting at the home on a Sunday and the surrounding neighbors were all very understanding and supportive of our filming. The bathroom on site is clean and nice! Also, while the owners do not allow the use of 'house power' there is ample locations that are safe to put a generator on the property without it being near any shooting. Additionally, there is ample room in the front yard to stage an entire cube truck's worth of equipment as well as stage a production office and craft services. I had a wonderful experience shooting at this home and would recommend it to anyone. 10/10!
