A teacher who understands that to practice Yoga means far more than learning to do some poses. Beverly takes every opportunity to explore, and redefine her practice so that what she shares with her students is the passion to become fully connected to how their bodies and minds really work - and because of this - able to guide themselves into being healthier, stronger, more present and less stressed. Allowing for the real Yoga....understanding their connection to everything. Beverly helps you understand your unique body and breath, mind and experiences. Shares the least talked about areas of Yoga Philosophy and why this could matter to your daily experience. Teaches Mindfulness and how it relates to a healthy life while never getting stuck in dogma or branding that could dilute what you may need. Beverly's studio is a hidden gem in the city! Located on Granville Island on the Marina Side, the studio possesses a rich, historical feel (it's in one of the oldest buildings on the Island) combined with the tranquil energy of a hidden zen garden. Beverly takes great care with her place and is a true professional to communicate with. I would definitely book her studio again and recommend it to teachers/practitioners seeking to book classes and events in Vancouver.

The Oceanside Yoga Haven is a wonderful space. Beverly is incredibly helpful, communicative and flexible. I rented the space for three hours in the evening. The space was clean, as described and Beverly even left tea amenities for us. It's a gem of a place and feel lucky to have shot there.

The space is ideal for small, intimate groups--perfect for our gathering. Beverly was wonderful: professional while completely warm and accommodating.
