This is my second time renting the Playground from Boris. He is always fast to reply and act on any small issue that may arise. Though this is only my second time renting, each of those rentals lasted months! Not days or weeks, but months. The space is just a huge blank canvas waiting for you to be creative. I most likely will return again.
The space is very cool but the pictures set high expectations of cleanliness and brightness that were not met. We had to clean for about an hour upon arrival to make it presentable to our guests, including cleaning a pretty gross bathroom situation. The walls need a sand and a new coat of paint - the fresh whites of the pictures are not accurate. The “thisopenspace” sign on the door is broken, which adds to the slightly dilapidated look.
Booked the space for a day, was having problems with the lights but Boris was quick to respond and sent a technician to check it out. Would rent this space again.
Solid turn-key space for a pop-up. Not much foot traffic in the winter so best for destination events or heavily promoted events. Easy to get in / lock up as entry is all code locks. Boris was very responsive. Cold in the winter they have space heaters but it’s not sufficient. Better heating is required.
