A dreamy location to escape & discover 5 stunning homes and night-club style party tent, set in breath-taking lakeside Prarie-gardens with far-reaching views of the South Downs. A Lake for boating & swimming with Spa deck beside including Hot Tub & Sauna, Treehouse, large entertaining courtyard & pizza oven, BBQ and to top it off...a unique party space! The stylish festival-style accommodation gives you 5 different environments to sleep from 16 - 30 people. Choose from an idyllic converted 5-bedroom Sussex barn, a delightfully colourful and playful Wendy House, an Arts and Crafts Showmans Wagon, Boho-style Shepherds Hut, futuristic Dome pod and origional Gypsy Wagon. The space around Wonderland takes you away from the city and into the idyllic countryside, even though Henfield is a 20 minute walk away. Being here is like having your own private wildlife park to enjoy for the duration of your stay with wandering peacocks, ducks, geese, the occasional swan, pheasant and even resident kingfisher. Nature is all around you and it is idyllic. There are also numerous glorious footpath walks around the area if you wanted to venture out and explore too. The gardens are simply stunning and perfect for quiet enjoyment... and the entertaining courtyard is an ideal hanging out spot. A large, entertainment courtyard contains 2 large dining tables to seat 24 people, an outdoor music system, a bbq, pizza oven (we can also supply the dough, sauce, cheese and even a chef to cook the pizzas!), seating area with firebowl (logs can be provided for an extra cost) and ping pong table. This area makes for a fantastic gathering area and is lit beautifully at night. The Lake is at the heart of the land and hosts several types of duck, moor-hen, geese, cormorants, kingfishers and even the odd swan – it’s a haven for nature spotting from the deck and the surrounding wetlands are an ornithologist’s paradise! Also on the Farmstead are peacocks, chickens, ducks and three very friendly cats who are likely to come and make friends with you! There is so much relaxed enjoyment perfect for kicking back and relaxing. Think reclining in a hammock, enjoying a swinging seat, boating on the lake (you’re also welcome to fish on the lake if you have your own rod), having a game of giant chess on the Spa deck, enjoying a picnic in the treehouse, roasting marshmallows around a firebowl or having a game of table football in the party barn. However the cherry on the cake at Wonderland is the unique party tent with bar, dance floor, music system, lounge seating and table football. This area really does need be seen to be believed! A richly decorted and textured night-club featuring 7 inter-connected rooms with themed lounge seating in each one, a central dance floor with DJ booth and Funktion 1 Sound System hidden in the walls, a 12ft bar unit with refrigeration behind, a Zoltan fortune telling machine(!) and outdoor smoking courtyard. There is super-fast Satellite broadband for those guests who need to keep connected. We have connections to some excellent private chef's and local caterers as well as massage, pamper and well-being services to relax and enjoy during your visit.
