About the Space

A private Georgian floor in a period townhouse, kept deliberately plain so it photographs however you need it to. The main space is open plan and south facing, with four tall sash windows running almost floor to ceiling. Light moves across the room through the day soft and diffused in the morning, with strong window patterns falling across the floor by mid-afternoon. Blackout blinds are fitted if you'd rather control it yourself. Original features throughout: two carved marble fireplaces, deep cornicing, two plaster ceiling roses and two crystal chandeliers. Walls are warm white, floors are dark oak. Nothing is branded and nothing is fixed in place, so the room reads as a home, a gallery, a salon or a blank set depending on how you shoot it. A wide arch opens to a quieter area at the far end, useful as a treatment space, changing area, make-up station or a second set-up. Furniture is soft and neutral a curved bouclé sofa, a swivel armchair, marble and brass tables, a cowhide rug and a full-length gilt mirror. All of it can be moved or cleared. Good for: editorial and fashion, portraits and headshots, UGC and social content, brand and e-commerce stills, film and interviews, podcasts, beauty and treatments, castings, workshops and small private events. Practical details Accessible 24 hours, seven days a week, on your own access code. One hour minimum, billed hourly. Up to 8 people standard, 15 for commercial productions. Lift access. Private WC. No drilling, nothing taped to the cornicing or fireplaces, and nothing hung from the chandeliers. Haze and smoke are fine with advance notice so the alarm can be isolated.
