About the Space
The oldest mechanised paper mill in the world and we still make paper on our machine which is over 100 years old. Our buildings are (only!) around 400 years old. The state can be described as derelict, dystopian, victorian, with many old machine parts and machines including a large 1897 papermachine, old walls and ceilings, beams and roofs. It sits on a peninsula bordered by two water streams and we have a quay side.
