About the Space
The Morgue room is a historic authentic morgue with intact drawers dating from the 1930s. Offering a visually captivating section of the museum, and steeped in history with over 20,000 bodies having been held within its walls. Featuring a bold black accent wall, curated historical displays, and a skylight that floods the room with natural light, this space blends eerie elegance with educational intrigue. Ideal for conceptual, editorial, or documentary-style shoots, it provides a rare backdrop that tells a powerful visual story. This space is available only for Photoshoots and Filmshoots. Morgue drawers are not suitable for use other than a backdrop, except for pre-approved projects, under set parameters, and at an additional cost. An additional booking fee is included if the site is needed during museum open hours; Thursday - Saturday 10am-5pm and Sunday 12pm-5pm.
