The Wren Room

About the Space

The Wren Room is a modern, flexible space which can be configured for meetings, lectures as well as dining and receptions. It is fully equipped with a state of the art audio visual system and video equipment for hybrid conferencing and presentations. This historic gateway is the only surviving entrance to the City of London. Completed in 1672, it has occupied multiple locations over the centuries and was restored to its current setting in 2004 following a major redevelopment. After being removed from its original site in the late 19th century, it remained elsewhere for many years before returning to the city. The gateway and the adjoining lodge now form a unique historic venue. The rooms are available to hire for meetings and dinners, and both spaces are fully accessible to all users.
