Step into another world inside this hidden underground speakeasy tucked beneath the streets of Mid City Los Angeles. Hidden beneath a lush grapevine arbor and down a private staircase, you’ll discover a cinematic hideaway that feels somewhere between a rustic European wine cellar, a secret New York lounge, and an intimate underground social club from another era. This one-of-a-kind 800 sqft. bar comes with a 400 bottle wine cellar, secret door, restroom, vintage leather furniture, vintage tile decor, fireplace, customizable lighting, sound system, movie projector, and seating for 25 guests. It really is something you have to see to believe. Let us handle the details. Our Bar Concierge Service can assist with cocktail menu planning, alcohol calculations, shopping lists, mixers, garnishes, ice, and full event bar preparation so you can simply arrive and enjoy your night. Karaoke Experience Turn your event into a night to remember with our private karaoke setup. We provide all necessary equipment along with an easy QR-code song selection system that allows guests to browse and queue songs directly from their phones. Casino Night Experience We offer blackjack and poker table rentals, professional dealers, and full casino-night setups for an elevated and interactive guest experience. Additional Information • Holiday pricing may vary • Custom event packages available upon request • Filming and photoshoot rates may differ from private event pricing House Rules: Productions & filming have a 1 hour minimum. ALL EVENTS have a 4 hour minimum requirement. No smoking, animals, or fire. Space is limited to 30 max people for events. Guests must provide their own alcohol. All events offering bar service are required to hire one of our bartenders at $30/hour + tips. Outside catering not a problem! Food is not allowed inside the speakeasy. All bookings require a $200 cleaning fee and a refundable $500 security deposit to cover any potential damages and overage. The security deposit will be refunded within 72 hours from the close of the event unless damages have been reported and need to be assessed. When booking your event please be sure to include time for set-up and break-down if needed. There are no early entries. If capacity is exceeded, we charge $30/person over the allowed limit, and will shut down the door if necessary.

Nick's Speakeasy is an incredible place, with lots of thoughtful decor. We had a fantastic time shooting there and it was a great filming experience! I will definitely return if given the chance, and I recommend this place to all small film crew productions!

We had a wonderful night at the Leather & Rose Speakeasy celebrating my partner’s birthday. With nearly 30 guests in attendance, everyone raved about the venue, the drinks, and the food. The Speakeasy itself is gorgeous, dark, and intimate. I was initially concerned that it might feel crowded with so many people, but the space was just right. Our host and bartenders were very friendly and attentive, handling all the audio/visual needs perfectly. We chose to have dinner at the adjoining Re/Creation Cafe. They served us family-style, and every dish was delicious. The cafe is a large, welcoming space that also serves as a music venue. We were lucky to have a great live band playing that evening. I appreciate the time Nick spent working with me in advance to finalize all the details about the food and drink and answering my many questions. The best part of the night was that the guest of honor felt he had a special experience. Nick and all the staff at the Leather & Rose Speakeasy and Re/Creation Cafe went above and beyond to make the night exceptional.

My guests and I had such a fun time at Leather and Rose. Everything in the lead up was super straight forward and easy. Nick was also really accommodating with a lot of last minute planning but everything ran seamlessly. The space looked great for our theme and my guests also commented how cool the whole space was. Dwayne and Stephanie were fantastic and brought such great energy to the night. I’m so happy chose this space and can’t recommend it enough!

This venue exceeded my expectations! Such a great atmosphere and the perfect space to host an event for any occasion. My guests and I all had a great time celebrating my birthday and the staff were so accommodating to my needs. Very smooth sailing! Would highly recommend this space to anyone.

What an amazing unforgettable experience! This place was exactly what I needed to throw a surprise bday party for my 40 year old boyfriend. The ambiance was soothing and classy. The host, Jimmy, was excellent at helping me execute my plan! He worked out small details with me and coordinated the night to go as smoothly as possible. My boyfriend had no idea. In his words “It was the best night of my life”! I strongly recommend this location and working with Nick!

Beautiful spot. Such a vibe. Celebrated my 30th birthday and book launch with 30 guests. Brought my own DJ. Sound system is stellar, space is intimate and felt full and exciting the entire time. Guests loved the spot. Nick, Jimmy, and Stephanie were super chill and made everything way easy. Book it if you want a memorable experience and kickass party.
