About the Space

We are a public house since 1776 fitchered on villages by the sea we area excellent film location. We are open from 12 noon Monday to Friday and from 10am Saturday and Sunday. At the heart of many a village can be found an inn, a place where locals and travellers go to relax after a long day. With beautiful views of the marsh and over to Wales, hearty food, selection of cask ales and a secret watering hole out back – we’ve got it all! This is a family run pub situated at the heart of the parade in Parkgate (possibly Cheshire’s most popular tourist area). From its old traditional demeanor, which was loved by many but to secure the future of this pub its recently undergone a rather big spruce up. Our aim is to provide an authentic pub experience for every person and their dog (yes – we are pet friendly!). Our doors are open throughout the year regardless of the season. The winter brings warming fires whilst the summer invites Al Fresco dining on our front terrace or in our quaint secret watering hole out back.
