About the Space

The Monroe Chalet is a light-flooded lodge striking a perfect balance between coziness and grandeur. The classic, well-built cabin is seamlessly integrated into its expansive grounds, showcasing an exposed wood interior, diverse forest and fields, an iron and stone hearth, and lighting that evolves beautifully each season. Our home lies in a berth of nature, surrounded by farm animals playing around (which can easily be contained!), making it eccentric and shootable for photoshoots and commercial projects. The flowing property is also great for individuals, families, or groups seeking a break from daily life to spend quality time in privacy; think retreats, workshops, lessons, etc. We are located halfway between New York City/Philadelphia and accessible via public transportation from both, keeping the space within reach of people living in both cities.
