About the Space

St Alphonsus Parish Centre is located just off the inner city ring road in the heart of Old Trafford - only 3.5 miles from Manchester City Centre. We are in close proximity to Chorlton, Stretford and the Old Trafford football and cricket stadia. We are situated within walking distance to multiple public transport links and have a large onsite car park. The building itself dates from the early 1900s with plenty of original features still intact; adding that nostalgic feel to your production or event. Our main function room has a standing capacity of 200 people. In addition to our cosy booths, bench seating and an additional breakout buffet service area; we have a large wooden dance floor. We have a bar facility stocking all the top brands at reasonable prices and also have to offer a fully functioning catering kitchen which allows us to provide buffets and banquets for all occasions and suiting all budgets. Please note, outside catering is allowed at our venue for an additional kitchen hire cost of £60. Customers can choose whether to hire the space with the bar open or have the room-only option. We can give discount rates for good causes and we are open to providing discounts and special offers for regular and large-scale activities. We are able to accommodate bookings Monday - Sunday and can host multiple day bookings. Our warm, welcoming staff team will be on hand to ensure your production or event runs smoothly from start to finish.
