Welcome to Re/creation Cafe — a one-of-a-kind creative cafe and event space located in the heart of Mid City Los Angeles. Blending rustic warmth with industrial design, this beautifully curated space features high ceilings, exposed rafters, concrete floors, large picturesque windows, handcrafted wood details, a wrap-around bar, ambient lighting, and a large roll-up door that opens directly onto our cozy outdoor patio complete with Spanish tile, lounge seating, and a fire pit. Designed to feel both cinematic and inviting, Re/creation Cafe offers a truly unique atmosphere for private events, film productions, and unforgettable gatherings. Outside catering may be approved on a case-by-case basis; however, the commercial kitchen is not available for outside use during private events. We also offer in-house bar service featuring espresso, beer, wine, and specialty soju cocktails. Entertainment & Add-Ons Bring your own entertainment or let us help curate the experience. Available add-ons include: • DJs & live music • Karaoke • Lounge & patio upgrades Rental rates vary based on guest count, day of the week, duration, and event type. Production Rates: • Mondays: $300/hour for productions with 15 people or fewer • $500/hour for productions over 15 people or for productions on any other day of the week Private Event Pricing: Full buyouts for private parties vary depending on guest count, day of the week, and food & beverage service needs. Cleaning fees, refundable security deposits, and minimums may apply depending on the scope of the event. Additional Information • Setup and breakdown time must be included in booking hours • Holiday pricing may vary • Custom event packages available upon request Whether you’re planning an intimate celebration, a large creative gathering, or a cinematic production, Re/creation Cafe offers a memorable and immersive setting unlike anywhere else in Los Angeles. There is a full commercial kitchen available for filming but not for use at private events. Full catering options are available. Will consider outside food but the kitchen is not available for outside use. We have several bar options available for private events. Inquire for more details.
