Milebrook House dates from 1760 and is a substantial country house of historic significance. Built as the dower house to nearby Stanage castle, the elegant 10 bedroom residence sits within the Radnor Hills on the English / Welsh borders beside the River Teme with stunning views of the Shropshire Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and the rolling hills of Radnorshire. In the early twentieth century the House was home to Author and Explorer Sir Wilfred Thesiger and over the years the House has hosted world famous figures including: Emperor Haile Selassie of Ethiopia, Prime Minister Winston Churchill, Mick Jagger of the Rolling Stones and David & Victoria Beckham.
