About the Space

The main dining room seats up to 20-30 guests on tables of two to four. Diners enjoy comfort in elegance and contemporary style, paired with a warm and relaxed ambience. Situated in an area of outstanding natural beauty, nestled between farmland and the ancient woodland forest in mid-West Sussex, is a unique and tranquil venue. The restaurant offers a pre-booked private dining on selected Friday and Saturday evenings throughout the year, with other lunch and evening special events taking place regularly. Private dining, luxury accommodation and an indulgent Spa provide guests the opportunity to experience relaxation, wellness and escapism from the stresses and strains of today’s world. A warm and friendly welcome awaits you in this privately run gated hideaway which blends both traditional and modern architecture surrounded by attractive grounds. The interiors are appointed tastefully to relax and rejuvenate mind, body & soul. Being a private gated estate, guests are invited to visit by pre-booking or appointment only. Unfortunately we cannot accept visitors who have not booked or contacted us in advance. Guests are encouraged to leave any troubles, stresses and worries behind. If any remain with you, we will do our utmost to relieve you of them during your visit! Where better to spend a special day than at an exclusive venue in a private gated property in the Forest? Whether it’s a birthday, engagement, wedding, anniversary, divorce, wake or a ‘get together’. We are fully licensed to sell alcohol for consumption both on and off the premises, as well as having licenses for live music, dance and entertainment. When the venue is booked for an al fresco event, a third bedroom can be made available allowing you and two other couples to stay. There are a number of other hotels just a short taxi ride away, with whom we collaborate, that can host any other guests needing accommodation. We are also set to host company meetings, ‘Away Days’, training courses, workshops and other small corporate events. We have full wifi and audiovisual equipment to facilitate your day. Again these days can be made bespoke to your needs and can provide formal dining or more casual eating around our woodfired pizza oven and BBQ. The purpose is for our guests to enjoy a wonderful experience and leave enriched, relaxed and wanting to return again.
