About the Space

This tropical themed outdoor space is perfect for your film/photo shoots. The lagoon pool includes two waterfalls, a beach entry with a shallow baja shelf, allowing for great shot opportunities. The white sand beach with lava rocks and dense jungle foliage makes for an exotic backdrop. The Swiss family style treehouse has many unique features, including a thatch roof, full walk around deck, detailed bamboo accents, themed interior and hammock. The flagstone walking path offers great shots and leads to the tropical white sand beach with lava rock and dense jungle foliage, creating an exotic island beachfront look. The outdoor shower features a winding cobblestone wall with bamboo accents and overhang. The outdoor bar/cafe includes covered bar area and seating. All fences have been covered to create a natural/jungle backdrop to all your shots. The entire space is easily accessible and includes large open areas for production needs, equipment/lighting set ups, video village, etc. Rental includes dedicated restroom and large indoor production room for cast/crew, equipment, etc.

This location is fantastic. The set up in real life is way better than you could judge from the pictures alone, which is always rare. Mark (the host) was very responsive and easy to work with. He was on the set the entire time helping with whatever we needed. Just one word to catch it all is "outstanding".

This is now our 5th shoot with Mark at his gorgeous outdoor space in sunny San Marcos, and it has been a 10/10 expereince every time. Mark is responsive, provides exceptional service with anything you could ever need for a photo shoot, and the venue is tropical, green, and spotless. Not to mention that there are multiple nooks and cranny's for the perfect shot. Our customers see our photos and ask if they are taken in Bali or Hawaii each and every time. Thank you Mark, we will continue to be back!

This is our third photo shoot at this location and we can't say enough great things about our experience! Mark is always immediately responsive to our booking request, the space is always exceptionally clean and photo shoot-ready, a dressing room/snack/refreshments are provided, and our photos turn out exceptional with the variety of different locations (pool, tree house, sandy beach). The space was absolutely perfect and the host was top tier! We shot here on 2 different occasions and both times, he was incredibly helpful and hospitable. Highly recommend this space if you're looking for a tropical vibe.

Amazing location. Amazing host. Lots of different options for photos and videos. Very spacious. Mark answered all of our questions and went out of his way to accommodate our needs. Overall, a great experience!

Spot was amazing, really felt like we were in Hawaii, so tropical! There were so many different options to shoot, it was like having 20 spaces in 1!! Host was also pleasant to work with and went out of his way to make sure we got what we needed!

Mark is hands down, without any debate the BEST host on Gigsterr and Peerspace. He went above and beyond those who go above and beyond. The place itself incredibly beautiful. Initially we were wondering if a great photographer had done some magic with photoshop to get the pics so gorgeous. And then when we arrived, it looked identical to the pics. This place is expertly maintained, like a zen garden. Even the rocks between the stepping stones were evenly placed. Mark not only has a wonderful place but he actually went out of his way to help us with every last detail to make our music video shoot a success. He is the best. If you use this place for your shoot, you'll be glad you did. Absolutely do it.

I would give this location 10 stars if I could! Our 5-person staff for our photo shoot were all blown away by how beautiful this space was, and how accommodating Mark was in assuring our experience was seamless and easy. This was my first time booking a "themed" outdoor space for a photo shoot, so I did not know what to expect, but Mark over-delivered. He allowed us to come before our session to give us a tour/set up, the space was picture-perfect and clean, and there was room for us to change with a fan/snacks/water. We were in need of a steamer last minute and he was quick to deliver. The evening before our photo shoot Mark give us a full description of directions, and what to expect once we arrived. Our photo shoot turned out beautiful, with luscious greenery, sandy beaches, and even wooden stairs for a different look in every shot. We will certainly be returning.
