Iconic Brighton Seafront Event Space and Music Venue is a Grade II listed live music venue with a late Victorian seafront structure. Aesthetically the building occupies arched undercroft spaces, a prominent characteristic that defines the historic seafront's style and architecture. Its exterior is formed from traditional masonry and brickwork, with a repeating rhythm of arches that reflects 19th-century coastal engineering and leisure architecture. The venue's core structural shell is largely unchanged despite multiple adaptations over time. This layered history contributes to its industrial–heritage character. The venue is a long linear, tunnel-like space. The main performance area is an open-plan rectangular hall designed to accommodate for live audiences and flexible event use. The venue's stage is positioned at one end of the live room, with a bar located in the back corner. The open floor is largely all one level but a small mezzanine provides elevated views across the main floor. This balcony is wheelchair accessible and used for accessibility. At the entrance of the venue you are greeted by the bar room. The venue's bar runs along one side of the interior, integrated into the wall and circulation space, supporting the venue’s main service functions. The building incorporates multiple rooms and ancillary spaces that support movement and event operations. Modern sound and lighting systems are installed within the historic shell, allowing the space to transform visually and acoustically during performances. Externally, the venue benefits from a seafront terrace area, a feature used for outdoor events and parties that offer a direct view of the seafront.
