About the Space

Set in hilly countryside Old Church Farm, formerly Alveston Manor was a hunting lodge of Kings of England one thousand years ago. In times past the estate would have been over a thousand acres - today it is 8 acres comprising of the manor house, ornamental rose garden, croquet lawn, vegetable garden with greenhouses, L-shaped paddock, and historic churchyard featuring the ruin of a 12th Century church. Conveniently situated just north of Bristol, Old Church Farm has good communication links with the M4, M5, M32 and M48 allowing easy access to Bristol, Bath, Chepstow, Newport, Cardiff, Badminton, Chepstow, Gloucester. Please note that the published rate and minimum # of hours to book are flexible and it depends on the type of event, days of the week, timings & number of guests. So, it would be best to enquire if you are interested. The venue may have a separate cancellation policy. For further information, please ask the Event Manager.

    I felt that my time at the house was very well spent. The rooms & the grounds were beautiful and we were able to get everything we needed on the day. Also the owner was very welcoming and lovely.
