This historic 24-room hotel was built in 1926 to house the talent of the Western film industry in nearby Alabama Hills. Roy Rogers filmed his first movie "Under Western Stars" at the hotel, and the guest list, includes; John Wayne, Roy Rogers, Bing Crosby, Gene Autry, and countless other singing cowboys, as well as the Manson Girls, and other detectives from the infamous Manson Trial.
