About the Space
Very charming, classic theater with high ceiling, stage, curtained backdrop, and complete audio/PA setup. The theater is fully set up with PA, performance and recording microphones, lighting (5 incandescent PAR cans and two Chauvet Ovation full-color LED ERS-style lights), projector and screen. The high 15 ft ceiling gives the space a wonderful sound. The space is ideal for filming, rehearsals and special events. There is a loading zone in front and is street-level. Walk-throughs are welcomed and encouraged! Located on Melrose Avenue in East Hollywood, right next to the historic Jensen's Melrose Theater (now Ukrainian Culture Center) with lots of street parking.
