About the Space
🍊 Welcome to Grapefruit Studio Capture the editorial beauty of an Old World villa or chateau in our daylight studio which was painstakingly renovated using ancient techniques and all-natural materials imported from Italy and France. Our 800sqft self-service boutique space is drenched with natural light. It offers 64 linear feet of shooting wall, 11ft ceilings, and large South-facing windows. The space is also 100% blackout capable with retractable blackout curtains. We are located in a historic textile mill in East Williamsburg, Brooklyn. It is a 5min walk from the Morgan L train with free street parking. ***For optimal unblocked sunlight, we are located on the 3rd floor. A freight elevator for large and heavy items is operated by our building supervisor from 8am-5pm daily. Great lighting and features. Had some issues upon arrival with air conditioning and wifi but the host was responsive. Even with AC, though, it is very hot in there.

Absolutely incredible space. Beautifully high ceilings, breathtaking furniture and decor. Accessing the building and the studio itself was extremely simple and straightforward, and the host was very helpful with any questions we had. I would 100% recommend booking this studio, as I will probably do so again in the future.

This space was fantastic, and very true to the description and photos. The "Old World Parisian" vibe is fully realized and the space feels authentic and cozy. The studio is also incredibly well-equipped with lighting, grip gear, accessories, backdrops, etc. Melanie was very responsive and helpful.
