The oldest part of the property is 200+ years old with several exposed beams and stripped pine doors. Upstairs has two ensuite shower rooms with loos and sinks plus a family bathroom with a separate shower. The garden has a 17m x 8m natural swimming pond attracting diverse wildlife including Dragonfly, Kingfisher and Deer, a tennis court, a barn, a shepherd's hut (with its own kitchenette, double bed, underfloor heating, log burner and shower room) amongst lawn and paddocks of 3 acres that include a few family chickens and a summer house overlooking the tennis court. A climbing frame with a slide, swing and a 35m metre zip wire runs the width of the garden! The barn is a wonderful old timber and brick structure, insulated with a flat concrete floor, water and electrics and stunning exposed beams in the roof. It is ideal as a photo shoot location, with bifold doors it has capability to serve a wide audience ranging from kids parties, to a workshop (it has existing industrial lighting) through to an exercise studio. There is direct road access to one of the paddocks with parking possible. Fields of 87 acres surround the house and so it is very private with nature all around despite the central location (7 minutes from Maidenhead station and Junction 8/9 of the M4). We wish to offer the kitchen, the shepherds hut, the barn, the tennis court, the natural swimming pond and the garden for rent as a starting point. We are open to understanding demand and interest for the remainder of the property. The price will vary according to the need.
