About the Space

Our downtown loft production studio is a highly versatile space designed for film, video, and photo production. Featuring large windows with abundant daytime natural light, the studio is fully furnished with modern leather sofas, a curated tropical plant collection, art, multiple tables, and flexible seating throughout. This space is a well-known film production location used for movie scenes, interviews, podcasts, and commercial shoots, and is equally suited for photoshoots and creative visual content. It can also accommodate meetings, workshops, and professional gatherings. Studio Features • On-site staff to greet renters upon arrival and assist with setup (staff exits once you’re settled to provide full privacy and remains on-call if needed) • Downtown location near Richmond & Sherbourne • Paid public parking available immediately near the building • High-speed WiFi • Heating and air conditioning • Full kitchen • Two washrooms • Dedicated sound recording booth • Editing suite / private office • Projector and screen Production Equipment • Professional studio lighting packages, including photography lights with stands and high-end softboxes • Multiple additional lighting stands • Wide selection of coloured seamless paper backdrops (white, black, medium blue, grey, olive, beige, yellow, green, pink, purple, red, orange, brown) • Backdrops are charged at $5 per foot to cover replacement costs Pricing Premiums & Overtime • The listed rate applies to standard bookings during regular hours for small to mid-size productions. • Rates may increase for larger crews, events, extended hours, or specialized production requirements. • Overtime is billed at 1.5x the hourly rate, charged in 30-minute increments. • Please ensure your booking includes time for setup and teardown. • Early access or late departures may incur additional charges. • All furniture, equipment, and props must be returned to their original placement before departure. Noise & Audio Disclaimer • The studio is suitable for interviews, podcasts, and controlled audio recording. • As the space is located downtown, occasional ambient noise (traffic, sirens, neighboring units) may be audible. • Productions requiring absolute silence should plan accordingly or discuss requirements in advance. • Projects generating elevated noise levels should be disclosed prior to booking to ensure suitability and compliance with building guidelines.
