About the Space

A creative coworking and events space which occupys a former lace factory within Nottingham. The building has a distinct industrial workshop feel with all original features maintained throughout the space. The top floor is vaulted with large skylights bringing in an abundance of light. Exposed metal trusses dominate this floor creating an amazing industrial feel. The ground floor has been tastefully restored to provide a specialty coffee house in the former foremans office. Past 4pm, this transforms into a wine bar and craft beerhouse with locally sourced produce. The ground floor has a host of original feature sand workshop spaces for community use. Centrally the space can be cleared to host all kinds of events. The space currently has residencies with local music artists, magicians and comedy acts. The former yard to the rear of the building provides a large outdoor garden with bierkeller style benches and tables seating around 42 externally. Internally there is approximately 65 covers seated (coffee shop arrangement) 70 - 80 seated (audience style) and around 100 - 120 standing (evening trade) Alongside the events/ venue capacity at ground floor, we have a host of spaces throughout the building that can be hired for workshops, meetings or filming purposes.
